TERMS OF SERVICE AGREEMENT
Bridging Hearts provides its service to you, the “member”, subject to the following Terms of Service.
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
Bridging Hearts is an online social network for young adults with learning disabilities. In addition, there will be recreational activities available to provide opportunities to personally meet online friends.
Bridging Hearts reserves the right to not accept application or not accept someone who does not fit the membership criteria.
TERMS
We offer a 1 week FREE trial membership. Once you’ve had your personal interview and joined, there is a membership fee of $60 for 6 months or $100 for 12 months. This fee covers your registration, personal interview, a profile posted, access to other profiles, the network, and connecting with members for 6 or 12 months. There is an organized Bridging Hearts activity available for participation at least once per month at an additional cost depending on the event. Payment is available online through PayPal.
There are no guarantees that you will make friends and no refunds.
DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Bridging Hearts is not liable to the members of the service for the conduct of or information provided by the other members of Bridging Hearts. Bridging Hearts is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury to a member arising out of the use of the Service. The users and members acknowledge that they assume all risk and or responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the use of the Service.
PRIVACY
Bridging Hearts will not share any information about you without your prior specific written consent other than in connection with the Service. None of your personally identifiable information can be accessed or used by the public to identify you.
YOUR REGISTRATION INFORMATION MUST BE ACCURATE, CURRENT, AND COMPLETE
In consideration of your use of the Service, you agree to: (a) provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the Service’s profile form and (b) maintain and promptly update the Registration Data to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, Bridging Hearts has the right to suspend or terminate your membership and refuse any and all current or future use of the Service.
ACCESS, PASSWORDS AND SECURITY
Your account is private and should not be used by anyone else. You will be responsible for the confidentiality and use of your password and account number. Bridging Hearts will deem any electronic communications it receives under your access number, password, or account number as having been sent by you. You agree to notify Bridging Hearts if you become aware of any loss or theft or unauthorized use of any of your access number, password, and/or account number.
Monitoring of Content
We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor any and all public and private postings and messages to ensure that they conform to the content guidelines and this Agreement which are both subject to change from time to time. We also reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor any and all messages and chats that take place through the website. We are not responsible for any offensive or obscene material(s) that may be transmitted or posted by any and all users (including unauthorized users, as well as the possibility of “hackers”). As noted above, we are also not responsible, under any circumstances, for the use of any personal information, by anyone, that you post or transmit through the Service.
Removal of Content
While we do not and cannot review every message or other material posted or sent through the Service, and are not responsible for any content of these messages or materials, we reserve the right, but are not obligated, to delete, move, or edit messages or materials, including without limitation advertisements, public or private postings and messages, that we, in our sole discretion, may deem to violate the Rules of Conduct set out below or to be otherwise unacceptable to us in our sole discretion. Notwithstanding our right to delete, move or edit messages or materials, you shall remain solely responsible for the content of advertisements “Classifieds”, public postings, messages and other materials you may upload to the Service or otherwise provide to users of the service.
Rules of Conduct
MEMBER DISPUTES
I am solely responsible for my interactions with other Bridging Hearts members. Bridging Hearts reserves the right, but has no obligation, to monitor disputes between me and other members.
CONDUCT
As a member, I agree that:
(a) I am the only one responsible for my conduct and for the information I provide to Bridging Hearts or transmit to other members.
(b) I will not transmit to other members or employees any insulting, inaccurate, abusive, disrespectful, offensive, sexually oriented, threatening, harassing, racially offensive, illegal material, or any material that infringes or violates another party’s rights (including but not limited to, intellectual property rights, and rights of privacy and publicity). Please notify Bridging Hearts in writing about conduct or material from other members which you believe breaks these rules.
(c) I will not lie, say things that are wrong, or make things up. I will not pretend to be any person that I am not.
(d) I will not “stalk” or harass any person.
(e) I will not give my password to a nonmember to gain access to this site. (except for family members)
If there is misinformation or bad conduct my service will be terminated.
BRIDGING HEARTS PROPRIETARY RIGHTS
You acknowledge and agree that the Service contains proprietary and confidential information which is protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws. You further acknowledge and agree that content contained in sponsor advertisements or information presented to you through the Service or by advertisers is protected by copyright, trademarks, service marks, patents or other proprietary rights and laws. You agree not to modify, rent, lease, loan, sell, distribute or create derivative works based on the Service, in whole or in part. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit for any commercial purposes, any portion of the Service, and use of the Service or access to the Service.
TRADEMARK INFORMATION
Any Bridging Hearts trademarks, service marks, logos and product and service names are marks of Bridging Hearts.
TERMINATION OF THE SERVICE
You agree that Bridging Hearts, in its sole discretion, may terminate your password, membership account or use of the Service, in Bridging Hearts for any violation of the Rules of Conduct or any other reason. Bridging Hearts upon notice to you may immediately deactivate or delete your membership account and all related information for your access to the service with or without cause.
MODIFICATIONS
This agreement may be modified from time to time either by posting the modifications on the website or by notice to you. Your acceptance of modifications will be indicated by your continued use of the Service after the modifications effectiveness.

The Service may from time to time contain links to other sites and resources (“External Links”). We are not responsible for, and have no liability as a result of, the availability of External Links or their contents.
