Maddie Conway

Maddie Conway
As the Member Services Manager and Community Liaison for Bridging Hearts, Maddie Conway corresponds with potential members, interviews interested candidates, and helps those who join to get acclimated. She also does grant writing, website upkeep, and community-liaison work for Bridging Hearts. Maddie’s background as a special-education teacher and her role in education-related nonprofit organizations has given her the skills to help new BH members find their way and feel supported. Maddie says, “I enjoy getting to know potential members and sharing in their excitement as they discover a community of like-minded people.” This busy mother of three loves to spend time with her family, hiking, camping, and exploring the urban outdoors around their home. When she has time, she also likes to read, run, bake, and do crafts.

Meghan Roth

Meghan Roth
Meghan is married to board member Kevin Roth, and they have three children and two dogs. “At Bridging Hearts, I work behind the scenes, helping our community navigate the website or answering questions about membership issues. I’m also responsible for sending monthly emails and text reminders so everyone stays informed.” Meghan and Kevin have a son who was diagnosed with autism at age two. Meghan enjoys her work as a paraprofessional in an elementary school, where she supports children in kindergarten through fifth grade who have autism and/or other developmental differences. She also volunteers at nearby elementary and middle schools. With her degree in theatre and dance, Meghan thinks of the stage as a second home. She and her family enjoy summers at the lake, visiting with grandparents. Meghan has a stack of books she’d like to find time to read!

Erin Anderson de Laffitte

Erin Anderson de Laffitte
Erin says, “My sister Katie has special needs and lives with my family. I’m grateful for Bridging Hearts because it provides a safe community that helps adults like Katie to build supportive relationships and lifelong friendships. I know what a difference BH has made to my family, so I participate by planning and attending events. I’ve personally discovered in life that if you find value in something you need to contribute.” Erin is a homeschooling mom of three boys who are active in music and sports. She and her husband Adrian enjoy taking the boys camping and especially love spending time at their family lake property in Wisconsin, where they can all slow down and relax. Erin has a part-time job and several leadership roles through homeschooling, but this busy mom still makes time for her passion: reading. This year she is on track to read 150 books!
